Late work: will be accepted at a reduction of points up to the chapter test.
Quizzes: Quizzes will be given periodically throughout the year. These are worth varied amounts of points. You are allowed to use your notes on most quizzes.
Assessments: Assessments (test) are given after every unit. These are worth 100 points. Assessments can only be taken when all work has be completed. Missing work will result in your test needing to be taken after school.
Retakes: Retakes on assessments are available upon discussion with teacher. Retakes must be taken within one week to ensure consistency in grading. Please do not ask to retake an a test at the end of the quarter as a last ditch effort to improve your grade.
Challenges: Occasionally Challenge opportunities will be available. However, there will not be any extra credit opportunities specifically given at the end of a quarter so student can raise their current grade.
